What fun it was to get together with family and friends to honor Governor Sarah last night.  My husband Brad and I took our daughter Teagen with us to the ball.  Teagen loved seeing all of  the pomp and circumstance.  Sarah shared how good it was to be home and how coming home refreshes her.  Sarah's down to earth nature showed through as it always does.  Isn't that why we all relate to her so well?  It was fun to see old friends from high school (I graduated from Palmer High in 1980 and Sarah graduated from Wasilla High in 1982) and also just chat with those who have a common bond in our love and admiration for Sarah.  Sarah and I have none each other since elementary school (we went to elementary school in the building that today is Wasilla City Hall).  I was recently on the East coast where my daughter was interning for Chris Mathews at MSNBC Hardball.  Chris asked about Sarah and what made her special; without hesitation I said, her character.  I have posted a few photos my husband took of the ball.  Please enjoy them and please join me is praying for Sarah, her family, and her administration as the work through all of the tough situations that come their way on a daily basis.
