Local Red Cross Chapter Thanks The Kristan Cole Team
On November 2, 2007, Brooxie Robinson of The Kristan Cole Team accepted an award on behalf of the team from the American Red Cross Matanuska Susitna Chapter. The award was presented in appreciation of the team’s continued support of the local chapter and contributing to the effort to save lives together - Alaskan’s helping Alaskans. Many of these contributions come directly from The Kristan Cole Team’s Giving Back program, as the Red Cross is selected as the chosen charity to receive a monetary donation in lieu of a traditional closing gift.
Brooxie and fellow teammate Michael Padgett are both instrumental to the effort on a regular basis. Brooxie donates whole blood approximately every 56 days, and Michael donates blood and plasma whenever the perimeters of the program permit. It is through their personal efforts and donors across the entire Valley that makes saving lives possible.
